Stock Development posts strong 2008 sales in its communities
Stock Development released a strong 2008 sales report including 356 new home sales at its communities of Lely Resort in Naples, Paseo in south Fort Myers and Vivante in Punta Gorda.
According to Brian Stock, CEO of Stock Development, the company's new home sales volume reached $129.7 million for an average sale price of $365,000 per home. He attributed the success to Stock's core philosophy of building competitively-priced communities with architecturally superior homes and world-class lifestyle amenities.
"We are building homes priced from under $200,000 to more than $1 million in three of Southwest Florida's most highly amenitized communities," said Stock.
In 2008, Stock Development won five Excel/Aurora Awards from the Southwest Building Conference, 18 Sand Dollar Awards from the Collier Building Industry Association and 21 Pinnacle Awards from the Lee Building Industry Association.
Among the awards were Best Clubhouse honors for the Village Center in Olé at Lely Resort, Best Interior and Exterior Architecture awards for the new Village Center at Paseo, and numerous residential design awards at both communities. Stock Development also won Lee County's Development Company of the Year honors.

Stock Development is adding even more options for the upcomingwinter season with new neighborhoods and new furnished model centers in Lely Resort and Paseo. Altogether 36 new furnished models will be open this month.
At Lely Resort, 14 neighborhoods are offered. In 2008, Stock added Avonela, a single-family home neighborhood, and Moorgate Point, a twin villa neighborhood.
Also being developed are Covington Place, a neighborhood of single-family homes in The Classics Estate section; The Cottages at Cordoba, a neighborhood of maintenance-free single-family homes; and three new floor plans for the Martinique neighborhood in The Classics.
The Estates at The Classics, Caldecott, Cottesmore, Canwick Cove, Hawthorne, Legacy, Player's Cove, Alden Woods and Olé round out the selection of new homes with prices beginning at $199,990.
Residents have access to The Players Club & Spa at Lely Resort, which gives residents a complete lifestyle with a separate non-golf clubhouse providing a more casual, tropical atmosphere. Residents of the Olé neighborhood have their own Village Center. With three golf courses and two golf clubhouses, Lely Resort offers 54 holes of golf, including The Classics course by Gary Player, the Flamingo Island course by Robert Trent Jones Sr. and the Mustang Course by Lee Trevino.
The Lely Resort sales center is at 8020 Grand Lely Drive, with entrances on U.S. 41 and Collier Boulevard.
Paseo in south Fort Myers offers flats and town homes in 14 designs, and six casita floor plans. Homes range from 1,200 to more than 2,000 square feet under air. Four neighborhoods of single-story, two-story and courtyard-style single-family homes are also available. Twenty-nine floor plans range from 1,649 to 3,000 square feet under air plus attached two-car garages.
Village Center amenities include a full-service concierge, bistro, ice cream parlor, pub, Internet café coffee shop, fitness center, business center and library, spa services and a 90-seat theater. The free-form pool includes waterfalls and rockscapes, as well as a pool-side gazebo serving refreshments. Adjacent to the main pool is a spa, fitness-oriented lap pool and a children's water playground. The Sports Center includes six lighted, HydroGrid tennis courts, a fishing pier, four bocce ball courts and a basketball court.
Prices at Paseo begin at $179,990. The sales center is at 11940 Palba Way.
Vivante in Punta Gorda offers two- and three-bedroom condominiums ranging from 1,485 to 2,500 square feet of living space. Prices range from $199,990 to $599,990.
The community's clubhouse includes a grand terrace for al fresco entertainment, a resort-style infinity-edge pool, wireless business center, and a spa and fitness center.
Vivanté's on-site sales center is at 2950 W. Marion Ave.
