For our family, it is the perfect fit. Due to our busy year round schedules, our time away from Chicago is somewhat limited. It is for this reason, Cordoba appealed to us so much.
We found the home size manageable, and yet sizeable enough to host our extended family for the holidays. The outside living space is a wonderful extension of the home and allows for privacy with its courtyard concept. Our particular home has a stunning view of the lake and the ninth green of the Classics golf course.
We found the quality for the investment to be far superior to any other communities we visited during our search. We also appreciated the professionalism of the Cordoba Development team throughout the build process.
The location within Lely Resort is wonderful, offering close proximity to the Players Club. We utilize the Players Club pool, tennis courts and gym during our stays, numerous local golf courses, enjoy shopping and dining in Naples, and in addition, visit the beaches of Marco Island. The location of Lely from the Fort Myers airport is also a quick 30 minutes south on I-75, which was a big plus for us."

"First, we feel Lely Resort is the place to live! In March of 2009, we arrived in Naples from New York and spent a week looking at over forty fine communities. We felt Lely was the best for us. It’s close to everything, i.e., Marco Island, downtown Naples and major highways to anywhere. The weather is beautiful (sub-tropic zone). The pluses far outweigh a twenty-five minute ride from the airport. As first time Florida homebuyer’s in 2009, we were looking for the “good deal”, a place big enough for our whole family. We bought an older attached villa on a Golf Course. This turned out not so great for us. It was too large since our family is so busy they couldn’t all come down at the same time if at all. Second, being on a golf course has a nice view, but no one told us about golf course mowing at 5:30 a.m. right outside the master bedroom. The main thing was privacy. We live such busy lives in New York we really need our privacy to decide our own socialization. We didn’t need a community pool and clubhouse and weekly gatherings. We really wanted private space from neighbors. Therefore, in the Spring 2010, we decided to sell our attached villa and look for something in Lely that met our needs."
"The very first community we visited was Cordoba. We were so impressed with the quality of construction and standard amenities that were upgrades in other communities (i.e., solid wood doors, crown molding, granite counters, tile floors, top of the line wood cabinets, appliances and fixtures). The private walls around a beautifully landscaped pool that could be seen from the open design of the living room, dining room and kitchen, was so impressive and welcoming. We loved it but thought it was more than we wanted to spend. We looked at many other communities in Lely and almost bought a second floor condominium. Just before we signed the contract, we looked at each other and asked each other if we were crazy! Cordoba has everything to make us feel at home. It had the quality and privacy of our home in New York. The model we chose was the perfect size for us with space if people do visit. Cordoba Development worked with us regarding cost and we ended up with a price we were comfortable with. We are very happy with our decision to live in Cordoba. It really does feel like home and the house welcomes us when we come down."
